I’m a dedicated and compassionate educator with over 25 years of experience supporting diverse learners across Canada. My teaching journey has taken me to urban, rural, and remote communities in Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Manitoba—each one shaping my belief that every student can thrive when supported with care, understanding, and high expectations.
I’m also a proud mother of two incredible adult children who continue to teach me about learning, creativity, and resilience. My eldest is entering his fourth year of Engineering at Dalhousie University, and my youngest—a gifted visual artist—is beginning their studies at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD). Supporting them through their educational journeys has deepened my understanding of the many pathways to success and the importance of nurturing each learner’s unique strengths.
My style is guided by empathy, experience, and a deep belief that all students can learn math with the right support. Whether your child is struggling, catching up, or aiming to excel, I’m here to help.
Literacy is the foundation of learning. Every student deserves to feel confident in their ability to read, write, and communicate. I provide literacy tutoring that is responsive, inclusive, and tailored to the needs of each learner.
